Your participation in the PLUS MUFORS ROAD REELS SHORT VIDEO COMPETITION ("the Contest") shall be deemed to be your unequivocal acceptance and agreement to be bound by the Terms and Conditions herein.
The Contest is organised by PLUS Malaysia Berhad ("Contest Organisers")
The Contest period shall commence from 7 October 2016 to Date TBA ("Contest Period"). The Contest will be divided into the following phases -

All entries submitted must be in line with the theme 'Safer Together' and demonstrate what is good road safety sense in the most creative manner.
Only persons aged of EIGHTEEN (18) and above are eligible to participate in the Contest.
You may be asked, at any stage of the Contest to produce proof of age and/or your original National Registration Identity Card (NRIC).
You must be a Malaysian citizen or a Malaysian permanent resident in order to participate in the Contest.
The Contest is not open to the Contest Organiser’s permanent and/or contract employees or any of its subsidiary(ies), their immediate family members (i.e. spouses, children, parents, brothers and sisters) and the Contest Organiser’s representatives and/or agents and their immediate family members (i.e. spouses, children, parents, brothers and sisters), including the Contest Organiser’s advertising & promotion agents and vendors who are directly involved with the Contest.
Each participant of the Contest (“the Participant”) is allowed to register and submit as many entries as possible before the closing date for entries.
The Contest Organiser reserves the absolute right and discretion to disqualify the Participant, including to forfeit the prize(s) won by the disqualified Participant. The prize(s) will be awarded to the next qualified winner of the Contest. All winners of the Contest (“the Winners”) must provide the Contest Organiser with their full names as per the NRIC, current e-mail address and valid contact numbers in order to claim the Contest prizes. All of the Winners will be notified via phone call or email.
The Contest Organiser reserves the right at any time with prior notice to add, delete, suspend or vary the Terms and Conditions contained herein, wholly or in part at its sole discretion. In the event of any conflict, the Terms and Conditions herein shall prevail over the contents of any other promotional materials advertising the Contest.
Any matter which is not covered under the Terms and Conditions herein shall be determined solely by the Contest Organiser.
For the avoidance of doubt, cancellation, termination, suspension or extension of the Contest, the Participants shall not be entitled to any claims or compensations whatsoever against the Contest Organiser for any loss or damages suffered, sustained or incurred by the Participant as a direct or indirect result of cancellation, termination, suspension or termination or extension of the Contest.
Contest Criteria & Rules
The Contest utilizes a microsite (“Microsite”) hosted by the Contest Organiser and will include contestant submissions in the form of rich media videos which require connection to the Internet to
The contest shall take place during the Contest Period only.
The Participant is allowed to submit as many entries by 31 January 2017.
Video entries must not exceed 5 minutes.
Winners will be selected based on votes, creativity and content relevance to the theme of ‘Safer Together’.
10 videos will be shortlisted by the Contest Organiser from the pool of entries, after which public voting will commence.
Video entries must not contain material which is sexually explicit, obscene, violent, discriminatory (based on race, sex, religion, natural origin, physical disability, sexual orientation or age), illegal (e.g. underage drinking, substance abuse, etc.) offensive, threatening, profane or harassing.
Once submitted, all entries become exclusive property of the Contest Organizer, its parent, affiliates, and subsidiaries, in perpetuity.
The Contest Organizer has exclusive rights to use, copy, sublicense, transmit, distribute, publicly perform, publish, delete, or display any such submission, or any portion thereof, in any and all media including but not limited to all forms of Internet, television, and wireless protocol.
Each participant authorizes the Sponsor and any entities affiliated with the Sponsor to utilize the video submitted to the Sponsor, for eternity and for how they see fit, in connection with the MUFORS Road Reels campaign and any of the Sponsor’s programs, including any programs of its parent, affiliates, subsidiaries, and licensees, and to make derivative works from such materials at the sole discretion of Sponsor.
Public Voting Criteria & Rules
The general public is allowed to cast votes for their favourite video entry once the top 10 videos have been shortlisted by the Contest Organiser. Public voting commences from Dates TBA.The criteria for voting are as follows:
You can only vote for a video on the microsite
You must use FB Connect to cast your vote to prove user authenticity
You can only vote up to 5 times per entry
Winners of the Contest will be announced on the Contest microsite once the Contest Organiser has come to a final decision.
If the Contest Organiser does NOT receive any response from the Winners within two (2) working days after the Winners’ selection announcement, the Winner will be disqualified and the prizes won will be forfeited. The Contest Organiser reserves the right to proceed with the re-selection of the next qualified Winner. The Contest Organiser is NOT responsible in any manner whatsoever if the email notification(s) is/are not received by the Winners or if the email notification(s) have gone into the Winner’s junk or spam folders.
Selection of the Winners will be at the sole discretion of the Contest Organiser.
The Contest Organiser’s decisions shall be final and NO correspondence and/or appeal to dispute such decisions will be entertained.
